Oskar joined the New Helvetic Society in 1969 and enjoyed the periodic gatherings with his wife Barbara and their children. He was well known in the Jass Club and enjoyed playing cards with his fellow Swiss.
Oskar was also a member of the Swiss Benevolent Society of Philadelphia. His interest in Swiss activities led him to join the Board of Directors in 1997 and was elected President in 1999. He guided the SBS into the new Millennium. He pushed his directors to double the scholarship contributions to the SBS-NY in his final year as President and continued his service on the BOD until 2002.
May Oskar Rest In Peace!
We will miss him and extend our sympathy to Barbara and her family.
